nahh except the 1.2i engine is a bit smoother but slower

Old 1.2 carbed engine has 55PS but 1.2i only has 45PS...that's the same as the 1.0!

It's still quite nippy though, from what I can remember (passed my test in one - my Dad's). The acceleration is about the same as the 1.2 with carb, but high speed pulling power is better...like on the motorway.

i have a 1.2i. yes they are slower than the normal 1.2 but they are single point injection so its half carbed aswell.
another great thing is that u can make ur own induction kit for it and it roars!
take one corsa airbox from a 1.2 (?10 from scrappy)
add a little k&n onto the end of the box
and bobs ur uncle and fannys ur aunt. it roars and does add a bit to acceration. i can keep up easily with normal 1.2s round town but yes motorways they do pull better

I meant that the 1.2i is better on the Motorway! Oh I don't know...it's a long time since I drove one :p

i was just wondering because my mates A reg fully standard 1.2 kicks the fuck out of my J reg 1.2 and i dont know why this is
he has a 4 speed box and i have a 5
