if its a 1.6 gte/gsi engine then there is no single carb inlet manifold available for it.

ive bin told its a twin choke or twin carb, think he said twin carb off the 1600 cav engine?

a twin choke carb is stilla single "unit"

if they mean weber twin 40's then yes you can get an inlet but you need to find out what shape the inlet ports are

it deffon dunt have webbers, its a single carb. looks like a standard one, just need to know what engines i can get one from, as so far ive had no luck finding one, i think its the 1.6 cav engine, does any other vauxhall use the same inlet and carb???

Sounds like a 16sv engine.
If so, a 1.4Sr uses the same inlet and carb, Square ports.

Go to the car and look for the engine code, under spark plug number 4, on the top face of the block.
