will injectors from a 2.0 ecotec fit a x16el? if they do are they hard to change?
Why?
They wont give more power.....
Just flood your engine, you need to improve the inlet etc to use the extra fuel your putting in.

right, ive been told they make a big improvement to the cars performance! ive been told before to change the whole inlet manifold but i dont remember what i was told to replace it with. any ideas?
a mantzel type inlet for the 1.6 16v engine...
who ever told you larger flowing injectors alone would improve power needs a punch in the face ;)

any idea what engine number id need to look for to get the right manifold?
They dont come on the engine as std.
A Mantzel inlet is an aftermarket top inlet, and gets rid of the x16xe's miles if air intake.

its a 98 car, i dont want to be spendin a pile of money in it. ill just take a better standard manifold off another car....if there is one like
nope, no std inlet that is better.
and fit the injectors by all means, just dont come crying when you spin a bearing/munch the bores...
