help fitting solid mounts please

right thought id fit my solid engine mounts today, thought id start with the rear gearbox one. underneath, well i got the old one off, put the new one up put one bolt in then tried to fit the other bolt and it wont go it, so took it off again and tryed doing the other way round and same again,

i think its just cause its tricky, but any one got any tips? any one have the same trouble with there?
