2.0 16v red top, revs dropping.

Revs dropping sometimes stalling when letting off throttle at junction, its worse when its had some good abuse! can anyone help me please? nice one:thumb:

sounds likle idle speed control valve to me. common problem take it off and give it a propper good clen up! do the revs sometimes stay up higher than idle when you let off the throttle?

I tried not to! least its not in a ditch ay Draper! yeh sometimes the revs drop n then pick up n stay abit above idle!

idle speed control valve sounds best bet, skips did it aswell

try the iscv then, its down back of inlet manifold, follow the hose that comers off of sfi box or side of powercap and that joins onto it. think best to clean it by soaking in carb cleaner or wd40. or possibly thinners. best to check thou!

yeh def sounds like iscv to me give it a proper clean with brake cleaner then let it soak in wd-40 hopefully that should do it!!
