anyone done this? if money was no object, would it be worth doing rather than injection system?

for 8v
if your talking "money no object" then id stick with a well worked plenum setup (like the std 1.6 gte/gsi inlet) and mappable management.. with a complementing engine.

carbs are good but jsut not "perfect"

on a 16V engine it would be throttle bodies all day... although single TB plenums are good (wtcc use them rather well)

but TB's are a ghey ideal on the 8v engine.... unless you can get some 34mm TB's lol
