inlet manifolds

well basically i thought i had a 1.2 nova, took it to garage for headgasket doin and they found inlet manifold was shagged, so i sourced one, took it down, now there sayin the parts rong because its a 1.3 engine, surely there cant be any or much difference betweein a 1.2 and a 1.3 manifold???

Yep there completely different.

The 1300 has a twin choke carb/inlet.
1200 is just a single choke/inlet

nova spares are few and far between round hear lol, is there any other vaux engine i could take one off thatd fit?

Nope, need one from a 1.2 carb engine.

Edit- Ok, im confused, you thought it was a 1.2 carb engine, but its a 1.3?
If so you need a 1.3 carb engine inlet. Lol
