Mk1 dash clocks

How do you get them out is it a full dash off job? or is there an easy way to change the clocks?

Its quite easy really, push the top of the clocks into the dash and pop the bottom out. Its then a matter of getting it out, you need to unclip the speedo frm behide. This is normaly quite tight and you will lose massive amounts of skin doing so lol

^^^ disconnect the speedo cable off the gearbox first and pull the whole clock binnacle out so you can acess the cable easily enough.

Pushing the top of the dash doesnt seem to be doing anything the clocks didnt move and the glass with any more pressure will crack soon lol

Stick a knife/flat screwdriver in the bottom edge at each side and prise it forward.
