i have a 1.4 sr on a 5 speed f10 box but i want to put a 4speed f10 box on is there anythink i have to change i have an idea but not to sure
Theres nothing i can think of, but why would you want the 4 speed rather than the 5 speed?
i gotta 4 speed i think there great im gonna put it on my 1.4 wiv t 40's !!

5spd is better.
PMSL why the **** would you want to replace a 5 spd with a 4 spd

unless youre lazy and dont like changing gear, 5 has to be better than four
the actual gear lever is different on a 5 speed, so you need a 4 speed stick.
I hope you haven't fallen into the old 'That droning noise that sounds like it is the gearbox knackered' syndrome? usually it is the wheel bearings, and also it is quite easy to change the gearbox bearings.

quick on accleration than a 5 speed need to know for difernat if it is a straight swap
The Gear lever is identical on both 4 and 5 speed models.
Some have a small lug stopping the 4spd stick going into the 5th position, just saw that off, but most work a 5spd box without changing anything.
Mine did.
