Yeah, completely wrong tho.

Nowt wrong with Eco's.
With a nice exhaust, just as powerful as tired XE's, and smoother power delivery than xe.

Arent they just the same power as a 2litre 8valve? And if they are, surely the old 8v would be even cheaper to buy than ecotec?

136bhp fom a 2l 16v eco

old 8v is goin the same way as the old red top but with less power

eco tec is a 16v so kinda has to pull better then a old 8v

Nah, there more powerful than any 2.0 8v.

To answer the first question, yeah its the same as fitting an XE.
But they have the Immobiliser system, so you need to remove that part of the loom from around the ignition barrel, and the transponder out the ignition key.

but does a corsa sport not have that too?so would u not just leave it?or leave the corsa Immobiliser system?or get the key & ignition barrel from the eco donner car?

has any 1 saw this done b4?

Yeah.
But i think each one is coded, so the chip/barrel on the corsa sport wouldn't work with the Eco 2L ecu.

Not 100% sure on that tho.

Thats what i'd do, find a MOT failure Cavvy Sri or something.

Nick the engine,loom, immobiliser loom.

And sell the rest, brakes etc.

I saw one going for ?150 the other day, and it had mot too, Lol.
