he payed we jumped in and off we went home, getting out of glasgow and to the motorway took bloody ages and we got lost a few time. on the way home found a private road to see how fast it would go.... was quite quick :D
im absolutly nackered now and ive done f**k all other than drive

all i can say is its way too fast for his first car and his insurance(bearing in mind hes 17) is incredibly resonable too:eek:

looks like a sweet motor, ive been tempted by these a few times but couldnt afford to run the xe, the carlton and 106. the carlton is needed as its huge, 2.6 and rwd, and there is ABSOLUTLY NO WAY ON EARTH ID SELL MY NOVA FOR SOMETHING FRENCH!!!!!!!!!!

It'll be a shame if he bins it through some simple driving error, lets hope your display of its power shows him to treat it with a degree of respect!! Its a nice lookiong car, what do they go for these days?

no wasnt bad to be honest, if i was wearing my riggers dont think we would of got very far though lol

i have pre warned him if i catch him driving silly im gona kick him round the room, he has a full powere aprilliars125 and i have to admit he is pretty safe on that but you can cause more damage/kill more people in a car!

it was up for ?3000 he got it for ?2600 looking on the owners club they will bring 3k all day long though as long as there tidy

They're less power than the GTi? I thought both had the same engine.... random!

Not a bad car though, only group 11 compared to the GTi's 13... it'd be worse than trying to get insurance on a Nova GTE lol

You can pick up P3 GTi-6's for around ?3k now so a little expensive IMO

Rallye is an 8v where as the GTi is a 16v

and the GTI-6 is the 306, where as this is a 106!

i was told the 106 rallye is not as fast but is quicker than the gti because of how light it is?
revs to neally 7500rpm, insane for a 8v and still reliable!

The GTi will be quicker no doubt as the weight defecit will be made up with the extra power!

I know, I was saying IMO the '6 is better value for money.
