ive got a '88 1.3 sr and im doin it up. i need a decent exhaust that is well loud and massive (or quite big) ive been told not to get a peco bb4 coz they iz shite apparently. can someone point me in the right direction and tell me a quality backbox for not a lot of cash around ?100 pleez.

Just getting a backbox isnt really gonna make it louder, u need a full system cos its the restrictor centre section that makes more noise. You can get full ashley systems for ?98 summat, there big, loud, but not of best qaulity, should be alright tho if lookked after, also PCS do a full system for bout ?120. :D

I've got a std 1.4SR exhaust which i will drill loadsa holes in if u want it?
Go 4 the Ashley, i've got one and it's maaaaaad....get it from MPC in the midlands...?125 for the system and delivery and it even comes wiv 18month guarantee

I disagree with chris, I have got just a back box on my 1.4sr and its loads louder, I have a Piper Evo 3, one of my mates has also got a 1.4sr and he has just got a back box and his is louder than mine, he has got a Peco big bore 4, I personally think it looks a bit too big but it sounds fucking wicked !!

count to 10, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10. You cooked her 9's !!!!!

pcs one on my 1.4van cost ?100 and was fucking loud (as ian and kev will conferm)
