Was sent this text file on MSN, sounds interestinf to say the least!

The original plan was well on its way, a 600bhp stripped-out drag racer,
but Julian at Mega Modz just happened to come across a Ferrari 355 with
front end damage, a wild plan hatched in his mind....

Within moments of the damaged ferrari hitting the workshop, Mega Modz got
to work in building what is now going to be a mid-engined, rear wheel drive,
Ferrari V8 powered, Wide-Arched pulsar!!

it's not just the engine that is trick though, this car is going to pack Ferrari brakes
all round, Carbon bodywork, Ferrari rear suspension, Nitrous and quite possibly
a twin-turbo conversion!

from anyone else, this might sound like they were dreamers, but these guys are
already well on the way with this project. Complete and utter madness, but
undoubtably the best madness we've seen in years

a 600bhp pulsar would be faster than a rarri in a straight line surely

oh nice one.

Ferrari engine - that will break down every week

Twin turbo - even more unreliable

Nitrous - gay

Ferrari rear suspension - nice one, suspension which is designed for a lightweight 'super' car not a tall larder nissan sunny.

But.... on the other hand, it is in redline and it will have wide arches so it is going to be fast as &!#*....

I am with RJ on this one, why.......

give me a medal, why?

Just stating the obvious, whats it gonna cost to build a ferrari engined widearched pulsar? Including man hours I would say ?40k+, why not just buy something which is already awsome out of the box? Radical SR8, Ariel Atom... But they are just track cars though, not practical at all. But, how many people will drive a widearched pulsar which will never work properly and break down all the time.

I think I am just boring

why not just build a 600bhp pulsar ??????????????????????????????????

would be easier :)

yep, would be easier however, a 600hp Pulsar would cost a fortune, you are looking at (I would guess) ?20k for the engine which will be very laggy, like undriveable fast apart from the 1/4mile (which is gay BTW) and too very unreliable. Oh and then 600hp will only have about 450hp useable once the diffs, gearbox and transfer box have soaked it up, then they in turn will explode.

Yeah build a 600hp pulsar

how much is a smashed up Ferrari 355 worth more than 20k i would say,
so would be better to sell it and put a skyline engine in lol which will easily take 600hp and cost less :thumb:

someone who can rip a ferrari 355 up can surely get there hands on a skyline engine and modify it to fit in a pulsar.
