Right had a bit of a problem tonight!

Was ok all night and the few days that i have been driving it before that.

I sat at some traffic lights, pulled off, going up a hill went into 2nd and carried on for about 10 metres where the car jus cut out and died!

It wouldnt start again at all, jus kept on churning.

Battery is ok etc as lights all still work, Just Wont Start!

Any Help Much Appriciated.

Thanks, Luke:thumb:

Spark?

Fuel?

If yes to both, check timing belt.....

If no spark, take dizzy cap off and check for water etc etc

If no fuel then check pump/lines/carb etc (trace the fuel path)

I remember when i had my 1200 SPI engine in, i tried to blow it up by going into 2nd at 95 mph as i was putting a 1400SR engine in that weekend.

It send a surge down the loom on N/S and melted all the wires together.

So when it came to starting up the 1400SR engine, we were scratchin our heads for days trying to figure out what was wrong.

Had to trace ALL wires and eventually found problem (after changing, coil, leads, dizzy, ign module)
