i've got a 1.2 nova and want to put the cam from a 1.3sr in it
What do i need and is it easily done 'cause i'm doing it myself. :D

If u can i would get the 1.4cam as it has a higher lift!!
Its not the easiest thing in the world m8!
First of all u need a headset (gaskets, bolts etc)
Also u make sure u put plenty of decent new oil on the cam before running!
If u havent already got 1 get the haynes and read that!!

there is also a proper way to doing the head back up by using a torque rench and doing different degrees and also running the engine for a time then doing it again.
i think this is correct

not easy but u should manage just get timing absolutely spot on. then read haynes carefully.
dan f did ur m8 tighten bolts then slacken them b4 tighting again???? not a good idea id have said. :-/

not sure what he done but it were the timing that was out i think,
whats this bout a krypton tune for timing? ne 1 heard of it?
and i think the skills of mc were needed to get her running again!

dont get the 1.4 one as u will need a new dizzy and coil and sum wireing to suit

krypton tunes are fantastic!!!! about ?15-30 for a quick tweek to get it spot on. its not a "power" tune more of a get it running right tune!!

There's loads of mobile Krypton Tuners about. I had mine done a couple of weeks ago.

so is the cam a straight swap or will anything else need changing
