Soon I am going to be going to work on my 2.0 nova. I have got a high compression 2.0 8v engine with the big valve head from a mrk 2 cav cd. It has a close ratio box and 2.0 16v management. I am on the look out for some bigger injectors from a 3.0 omega at present.

I am going to replace all the bearings pistons etc along with cam & valves etc along with having the bottom end lightened and balanced.

I want to make this in to a racing/rally engine. I want to do as much work on it as possible but still keeping it normally aspirated at present.

I have been considering twin carbs, but have been told I can get the throttle bodies off of an Alfa - I'll see what comes up.

Can you give me some input on what you reckon I should do to get it to as high spec as possible.

Thanks

Dan

Some of the alfas do have throttle bodies. I can't remember which model off the top of my head. I'll find out and tell you which 1 later.
