Changing big block gear box clusters

before I pull them apart to find out, does anyone know if F18 internals can be used in a F16 box?

Well might not be much help but the F16 internals fit into the F18 so cant see why not vice versa.

IIRC, the F20 F18 and F16 interrnals ll fit inside each others respective casings

F20 and F16 contents are NOT swappable... there is a big ole bearing on one of the cluster that wont go into the other casing..

Mates quiaffe SCCR cluster is in f16 casing

So what about the F18's i have put F16 internals into a Vectra F18 Cluster and car drove fine so definately fitted perfectly.

we tried fitting an F16 sccr into an F20 case i think and it wuoldnt work lol...

I have an F16 & F20 cluster in the garage. I just took a look at them side by side and I reckon that you should have no problems at all.

I have a F10, F13, F15, F16, F18, F20 and a F28 and there all different in there own way :D
