2ltr brakes

When I first bought my SRi, it came with 2ltr 16v discs and calipers. BUT, I don't know what car they came off, and now I'm faced with the prospect of replacing the discs and pads.

so, how can I find out what new parts I need to order?

they should all be the same discs, just get them for a 2lt 16v cav

all 256mm discs are the same mate. as are the pads iirc.

Wrong, 2l16v brakes are all 256mm x 24mm discs.

I've got 256x20mm discs+calipers off a 1.7td cav, and the pads are different.

Just get some for a Cavalier GSi2000-2L 16v.
Thats what i always ask for.

or just buy both keep your receipt check which set fits and take the other one back!! ;)

I had the same problem if you just take your disks and pads into any half decent motorfactor and they can match them up in their book good luck... :thumb:
