my nova build

after 6 months of rebuilding my car, my engine packet'd in, due to sand from my rocker cover (never have them sand blasted:mad: )

so over past couple of weeks me and my uncle have been rebuilding her

removed the bonnet and other little bits, now whipping it out :thumb:

got gearbox off and give it a good going over with wire brush and after 4 hours

If you look at one of the top pics you can make out what looks like a manifold for bike carbs! Or Trumpets!

and thats as far as we have got, as when we removed exhaust valves 5 were bent :o

Bet you wont do that again? Like the look of the car though, old school.

yeah cleaned it with my dads steam cleaner and a tooth brush for 2 hours, but some must of been hiding :cry:

Needs to be a VERY strict mot tester to pull up that one!

I blasted a GSi inlet manifold a few years back. I masked off all the holes & ports but it still got in. Took me an age to clean the shot from the sticky/gunked up insides. No way I was gonna risk anything.

not long now doin abit more tonite goin to fit my new cam belt, fit my newly painted rocker & cam cover, fit sump. will post pic's tomorrow :D
