ive just been told by my mum and dad that ive got mu own private numberplate for xmas. i cant believe it. it reads D 12OME which is meant to say D ROME. it looks amazing lol. i think a photoshop might be in order. hehe

well pleased now. cant wait untill it goes on the nova.

nice one mate every one says i got the right number plate for my nova and it aint even a private plate its f47 tow and my mates say it reads fat tow lol as me car is always on the back of a tow truck

think you losted it 5 months ago. if im right you need mot on your car or you lose it. i think iv just lost my number plate its iil 325i it was on my 325i sport its on a retenshon at the mo but i think iv run out of time, and its on some web site for ?1552 at the mo as well i only want ?600 for it but i think its all lost

my old nova was B117 CAR, looked like 'bin car', and that is just what i did!!

Nope, car has to have had an MOT a maximum of 6 months before transfer date, and that only counts for 'cherished numbers' which were transfered onto the car in the first place, not just funky standard ones.

I prefer a random selection of numbers and letters myself. I hate dubious plates where manipulation and imagination is required to read what the owner thought he/she was spelling, its almost as bad as the 'B19...' plates (big, as in big what?? If you have to advertise you must really feel inadequate). Ones that relate to the car are ok, like R34 GTR or 355 GTS or 'NVA' plates but I wouldn't want a dodgy amalgam of numbers just about spelling my name!

Hmm my car has been SORN for 2 years with my private plate on, L14 MNP (L14M NP)

Liam Nissan Primera - not the best I know but it's hard getting a plate with no middle name and a first name like mine lol

I called the DVLA to check what rights I have over retaining it and they said if it's SORN then it still belongs to me!

That would be on a silver calibra then, i wonder if he dropped the LET in it after leaving the sheffield cruise about a year ago and losing a little dabble he had with a blue nova on alessio`s saying 1.2 on the back, that would be my old valver he played with hehe, glad i got rid of it though as it made me want to put my foot down everywhere, not good really though!!!

Back on topic though i tried to find NOV 45R, for my old SR a few years back its around somewhere, would be NOV4 5R!!
