Will a magnex exhaust fit my nova?

Hey stu is sellin a magnex exhaust which i belive came off a gsi just wondering if it would fit my 1 litre j reg mk2 3 door hatch nova :D

Would it need some brakets made up or sutten..

The brackets will fit, all the same bar the saloon. One thing i cant remember is the bore size of the 1lt, all are the same but i have a feeling the 1lt is uber small and thus wont fit.

ahh so prehaps a could some how change the bore size so it urber big could i nick a system of a sr? :) thx for ya reply phil

sadley on all other novas i would say get the whole system, but with the 1lt the exhaust manifold is on the back of the engine and hence the system is different. With all other novas you can use the manifold and system off any other one (as long as you use the manifold and system from the same car.)

hmmm could i prehaps keep my 1l mainfold and get a 'magic pipe' to convert the mainfold to accept say a sr system and then have that magnex bk box?

Well you could cut an weld one on, but if your talking magic pipes then you really need to speak to the king of the pixies. They do some seriously amazing pipes.

Yea i have been learning how to weild at college and this looks like the time am gonna put it into pratice.. or might pussy out n get my cousin to do it lol.

So what are the parts i need? the sr setup flange etc

It should go straight on fine, no arsing with brackets etc.
1L has same bore as all other novas, so a 1400/1600 backbox will fit a 1L.
