Just fitted a 4 branch competion manifold to ma nova 1.4SR dont think i can feel the difference??? what manifold would be better the standard SR one the one i bought? the one i have is similar or the same as this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/4-into-1-tubular-exhaust-manifold-Nova-Astra-1-2-1-3_W0QQitemZ170049658295QQihZ007QQcategoryZ38786QQs sPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohostin g
what else would be worth while doing to the engine for best performance??

Your not going to see massive gains from it.

Should feel a slight bit quicker tho, and the exhaust should sound nicer.
Other mods could be a full exhaust go with it.

Depends if you want to spend money on the engine, 100bhp is possible, but thats with a head swap, aftermarket cam, twin40 carbs etc.

You could fit a weber 32/34 carb to replace the pierburg.

if u want some power without a lot of work u could skim the head a bit and get the valve seats 3 angled and clean the ports in the head would give you some extra power
