how much do you reckon it would cost for a bodyshop to weld on a new top skin for the roof?

What's happened M8 .. did it cave in under the weight of the filler? :p

is it worth the effort i saw a 1.0 j reg that needed locks for ?199 the other day

i dont really have time to change all the bits over IE re shell, i am going to do all the prep work etc myself, i just need someone to weld the top skin on. :(
the filler doesnt look very good at the minute, i'm not happy, cos i have spent 50+ man hours on it getting it to look right. i'll give it another go this weekend to see if i can get it reasonable. grr

ste, im not experienced with that kinda thing! even if i do get another shell, its the problem of getting to my house/workshop etc. i might be interested if i can get a car like u said a j reg 1.0l for ?200, at least i can take my time in changing everything over then :D where did u see it?
