Not 100% on the manifold, but I'm sure a 1.3SR one should fit...

If you want the tailpipe to come out straight, get a rear box designed for a Mk2 - the Mk1 items are all cocked to one side ;)

K&N should be found on ebay. New ones go for around ?30-40 - there's a few on there at the moment, although they only state for the 1.2 and up, not sure if the 1.0 is the same fitment as a 1.2 - different carb perhaps.

you wont be able to fit any other sort of manifold and system mate as the 1.0 is a totally different set up , there is not much you can do really matey ,

he's right, your only option is a 300 odd quid stainless system custom made.

Doubt you will get a bolt on filter for the 1.0l will need to mod something else on there.

I remember trying to mod my old 1.0 when I first started driving. Was a nightmare lol but, I loved it to bits. I came really close to having a custom exhaust fabricated, until someone asked me "why not just put the money into fitting a bigger engine, a 1.2, or SR 1.3/1.4" and I came to my senses....

Basically, research into increasing your engine's cc. :thumb:

lol for some reason when I wrote about the exhaust i thought he had a 1.2... dunno why!

'no replacement for displacement' - the money you'd spend on mods to your 1.0 you might as well invest in a 1.2 or 1.3 - instant power gain and the insurance of a modded 1.0 would probably be the same if not more than a 1.2.
