fuel pressure problem

i have an adjustable pressure regulater on my nova and stunk of petrol out of the exaust so i turned it down a bit and it aint run right ever since
does any 1 know if a fuel rail off a 1.6 inlet would be alright on a 1.4 sri so my car runs right its only till i get my new engine in so i dont want to spend money gettin it cyrition tuned cheers ppl

Theres nothing to tune on a sri engine, theres nothing to adjust.

The fuel rail off a c16se is the same, but i think e16se is different, not 100% sure tho.

Adjustable FPR is pointless. Stock pressure & clean injectors will run the best, regardless of mods.

i bought the nova with the fse power boost valve already on. ive a 1.6 inlet off a 1.6 gte, i wanted to know if the preassure regulator lets the same pressure through and if it fits the sri and that
