What other engines are nearly the same as my c18xe on parts and so?

Hi, i have a Astra-f 1.8 16v c18xe engine and wonder what engine mounts and parts i can by that will fit from another engine like the c20let, c20xe and so one.

Like the engine mounts, it the mounting places for an c20xe the same as the c18xe? can i use c20xe mounts on my c18xe?

And if somebody can tell me what other engies i can use parts from, then shout it out! :)

Its realy nearly none engine tuning parts for my c18xe on the web :(

The C18 XE is the same engine as the X18 XE just with different managment so all these parts can be used easily on the engine (X18 XE is from Astra Sports, Vectras and late cavaliers)

Yes you can get away with a C20 XE fitting kit, the gearbox choice is the same eg: F16,F18,F20,F28

So you have the same shaft issues as fitting any bigblock engine wether it be a 2.0 8v or turbo.

The C18 XE is a nice reliable engine and can also get nice power curves from them with no major effort. A nice different choice.

Yep, the way i'm going whit an c18xe is a different way to go, everybody goes for the c20xe and LETs so why dont be different? hehe :)

The c18xe have a turbo kit and looking for som nice powers to drag the 660kg chassi apart :)

Yes you can use the mount kit for the C20 XE.

I have a C18 XE sat on the floor complete, might fit this into a corsa im building instead of the C20 XE i have for it.

Here was the first nova i bought. The shell was rotten as hell and the engine was taken out for totaly renewing and miner tuning.

It all was a mess and things dont look so nice on the pics, but it was DAM fast! :D

The new Nova 1.2s 3door non sunroof and now milage and nearly no rust is ready to be totaly rebuilt, sticht weld, chassi plating and a mk2 front conv. and then paint :)

The engine is in parts and ready for upgrading and so on..
