I aint been on here in a while due to selling the nova but ive popped back to check progress etc etc

i bought this starlet less than a month ago as a CAT C write off and reapired it (hence the red bonnet)

was quite a quick wee thing 1300 16v. much like a nova but newer - and jap:wtf:

anyway.....

I swerved to miss a berlingo van coming the opposite way and stuffed it into a hedge, then causing the car to roll down the road. doing around 70 leading upto it

got out of the car un-aided with only minor cuts/bruises.

very lucky

excuse the red bonnet - i bought it less than a month ago as a damaged repairable lol

piccies!

Nasty :(
Could of been a lot worse if that was a nova.

Yup, I'd say that held up quite well, especially considering the speed. Unlucky though... but lucky to walk away with minor injuries I guess :(

Was it a turbo, is the engine still ok?

Nah it was a 1300 16v non-turbo (too many points to insure turbo:roll:)

back is very sore tonight.

still went to work though hehe

Yeh engine is fine. had a wee blast in it at work lol (bit smokey but thatl clear)

Pfft, I refuse to believe Starlets have anything but 1.3T engines lol

Could have been retrofitted with a blower engine :D

Good lad! You had a good go at it.

I rolled my Astra GTE a year or so ago. Not as bad as people make out, though I did have trouble sleeping for a fortnight afterwards.

Looks like my drivers pillar took more of a battering than yours. Somehow my elbow ended up poking out the window & I went down the road on my elbow. Scuffed through my Firetrap top & the scab took 7 months to heal.

Glad your OK.
