Suspension Bushes...?

Okay, with the certainty I am sounding like a total nub I am going to make this a nice, short post :D

1) Just, what are Bushes?
2) What are they used for?
3) Where exactly can they be found (close-up pictures would be great..)
4) What are their purpose?
5) Which manufacturer would you suggest?
6) Are they worth it?

1-4+6 Bushes are rubber or rubberlike bits that sit between the suspension and the car, used for absorbing small shocks and movements. I wouldnt take them out. :p

well, I'm considering getting some aftermarket ones, to set up alongside my coilovers... I just have no clue about them at all... :wtf:
