bonnet hinges

Just got my new bonnet hinges, but iam a bit confused, they have come with bolts but from what i can feel the old ones are not bolted on...

Is this correct or do i need rivets?

i might be worng....but i think you would need to drill the rivets out.and then bold the new hinges on. could be wrong tho

Yeah the old ones are riveted on, you've gotta drill the heads off, bit of a ball ache as you can't see the rivets, just gotta have a feel about !! Even bolting the new ones on is a pain as there aint a lot of room to swing a spanner !!
Fitted 2 new ones to mine the other month.
