Do Vauxhall make any 16" 4x100 alloys? Got a feeling the Corsa C SXi ones - which I'm not too keen on - are 16", any others?

Also, what kinda size brakes would fit under 15" wheels...

RJ are these the Corsa C SXi wheels?

If so they are 15". I would stick to 15" wheels. I found that 16" wheels had a more limited tyre choice.

There corsa sxi /\
And yeah, there 15s.
288mm(V6) brakes fit under them.

GM do 16" 4stud wheels, mostly on the newer astras(mk4)

All depends on what the car's used for...
Most Vauxhall wheels are availible in 16"

GM 16's.
Corsa C SRi had some but with an offset of 42mm
Astra mk4 SRi & SXI had 2 variations.
Vectra B 1.8 SRi had a nice set, (rare in 4stud)
Irmscher softstars et49 6x16" cheap from LMF at the moment.

One other point is to checkout the J of the wheel as well. Anything over 7J will be a ballache. 7J rims are a really tight fit.

Typically I dont think any of Vauxhalls rims will be more than 6 or 6.5J

True however. And I wouldnt use anything other than et49mm. I never have.

RJ - Had a good look around and the only standard 16" Vauxhall alloys I could find where 5 stud.

Also on your other question I know the V6 breaks fit under 15" wheels. If you get after market discs & calipers its more the size and position of the caliper that matters. Although on a road car its not needed. Infact on a road or track car I really don't think anything other than the ATE discs and calipers are needed when fitted to a Nova. Decent pads and discs are a good idea though (and are needed for trackdays and the like).

SElew - what tyres/wheels are you refering to?

Cheers Dar. I was thinking 15's might look a little lost in the round saloon arches, but I think with the availability/cost of both wheels and tyres in that size I'll stick with 15s. And means I can keep an eye out for some Cesaro wheels :D

Was a little worried about brakes, as the GT4 stops pretty much dead when you want it to, and I seem to remember my crappy old 1.2's being like a drunk elephant on rollerskates to stop ... so I think they'll be on the list to upgrade lol

the corsa sxi wheels suit novas nicely in my opinion, you can fit v6 brakes under them but it is a little close to the inner rim
