Was on my way to work friday morning and pulled away and some little chav tried to have me off the lights so i went for it too, (it had been raining) and mine sat there and spun so i went to second and before i knew it i had lost and my clock was all the way round and all i heard was a bang and it slowed right down, it was like it was running on 2. Left it at my dad's work and then picked it up later on and took it to work. Stripped it and found out id bent 1 valve and snapped 2 fingers :(. I no it was my fault but i got it fixed saturday morning and figured out that the monkey that had fitted the manifold on my car was an idiot becuase it was blowing like a gooden, so fixed that too, sorted out the advanced timing and the fueling :D:D:D Just thought id sahre it with ya.

the only time i've valve bounced my engine is when i was tried to slow down fooking quickly and shifted down to 2nd at about ummm 70-80mph, didnt sound good, but it was fine.

My DC5 over revvced to about 14k once when i missed 4th form 6th and got 2nd!!

Had it all checked out though and no damage at all! PHEW!!

i no it should have never happened and yeah i think i need new tyres and a limiter and some more self control lol, bit embarrashing really lol

gave em a sand down n paint n laquar with rattle cans, not bent or buckled, bit of curbing but that coverd wen painted. prob want ?100 due to cost of tyres. will e mail u some pics if u gimme email adresse as cant be ****d puttin pics on here
