How would i go about setting this up?

As the fuel relay is triggered by the ecu, so no ecu=no fuel pump.

Any info?

I have a pressure regulator that should knock the pressure down to about 3psi.

Hard wire the fuel pump to a dash switch or ign live?

Thats an option yeah, probably need a beefy switch.

And i would have to remember switch the fuel on,Lol.

Make up a relay circuit to feed the pump, just the same as for spots or fogs, that'll sort the wiring. You could have the relay running direct from the ignition or have an extra switch in-line for saftey. All you need then is a regulator that can handle reducing 9psi down to 3psi.

Ahh right, aye, i could supply the ignition live to the relay with a switch, to take the place of what the ecu normally does.

Hmm, im not sure mine can handle a Spi pump feed, the regulator is one of those small silver ones, with like a dial thingy on you set the pressure with.

what i was told to do was unplug the pump in the tank, (under the back seat) and have the normal carb pump thats on the end of the cam carrier! it worked on a mates corsa, but so far no luck on my nova :(
but i think im not getting a spark ;)

Yep, that would work /\

But i prefer the electric pump.

And i have a sri cam carrier, so no hole for the mech pump.

use a facet pump

Thats an option, but they cost money, i already have spi pump and a pressure regulator. Lol
Which is why i want to try and keep them.

This is the regulator i've got, i took it off a old carb mk3 escort,Lol.

Not sure if it will handle 11psi from the spi pump tho.

Used one on my corsa with MPi pump, feeding 45's and it was sound. No problem with using SPi pump either

Aye, that one looks perfect. Is 5psi low enough tho?

Will have to add that to my carb shopping list then.

The twin outlet version sounds cool. Dunno if its worth the extra ?4 tho. Lol
