side strips removal

hi all, got a standard sr with the side strips and the black plastic trim on botton half of the car, just wonderin does with strips come off without no bolts or holes underneath and isit hard 2 peal that black plastic off, does it need 2 be done professional, if any1 know be great, cheers

The strips are just held on with some double sided trim tape. Use a hairdryer or hot air gun to heat the strip up and it should come off fairly easily, plastic scraper and a little bit of white spirit or meths to take any residue off. Same goes for the side vinyl, but it'll probably be hiding some rust. Take your time with it and don't expect it to be a five minute job!

Agreed its not easy and will take a few hours, I found petrol to work well
