Im lookin to fit new wheels to the mota,

ive now got wide arches so was looking for the biggest! wheel i can get on.

I was worried wide tires might foul the new coilovers.

Any help apreciated.

use Spacers so that the wheels clear coil overs

Fit a 50mm track widening kit from TAS this will improve handling and clearence and help you fill the arches. Downside is it will be expensive.

just use an astra back axle

Does the astra back axle fit ste? Sounds good. They do a kit for the front that has longer track arms and tie rods, but you need to weld new turrets in 50mm further out. And it uses Astra Driveshafts. This means you won't mess up the handling by fitting spacers on the front and you can save money as the wheels can be a sensible size/width.
