not sticky as in coated with spunk , sticky as in wont go up and down without me pulling at them a bit. what can you do to get them to work smoothly?

Lol, put some WD40, or get some vynl grease for the vynl at the edge of the windows!
The vynl willb be sqeezing and holding the glass in place rather than sliding!

I thought the same as Dicko at 1st, but what it is, is the runners on the B pillar end of the door need adjusing. Take the door card off, the metal runner will need bending a bit. I did it and mine work great now.

Give the runner channels a scrape out with a screwdriver or something first, to get rid of the crap in there.
Then lubricate 'em.
