Is it possible to get a 1.2 up to 1.3 Sr speed without spending major money ?

Ste mate, do u think the insurance would be a lot more if u transplanted the 1.3 engine? about ?100 rise or summit?

yes it is. i have a 1.2 with a K&N bolt on filter and a peco bb2 back box. Got filter second hand 4 a ?10er and the back box for ?50 second hand. On the rollin road day I got 67bhp(fast car got my figures wrong b4 u comment) thats only 5 bhp off a 1.3sr. i found that it beat 1.3sr then anyway. since that i have added a 1.3sr box and a 1.3sr CAM, the Cam made a considerable difference and is highly recommended and i am guessing its added about 5bhp so its roughly about the same bhp as a 1.3sr now! the five speed box makes a differnce 2 but i would same if u can get the one from a sri, think same as gsi the close ratio one because its a bit tall really! e-mail me for any more details
