more problems please help getting stressed

hello i got a 1.2 nova sxi with a spi engine ohc in it i changed the thermostat and radiator switch and the temp gauge goes up to half way and then the water bottle shouts water out but its gets hot and the fan dont kick it but i changed the switch ive checked to see if the fan works and it does. when i turn the car off water comes out faster then goes away and sucks air back through so i think so if u can help me i would be greatful as im getting stressed ta adam

Or waterpump isn't circulating and its overheating

Or the expansion tank cap is funked.

try the bleeding the coolant system as you top up the coolant level.

get a new coolant cap on her first as its cheapest ..so start there ....then bleed her as said ...then id do a water pump and timing belt and head gasket ....and thermostat ...parts are so cheap its worth doing
