Lowering

Hi, i wanna lower my GTE. I`ve got standard 3 bar alloys on it. I wanna lower it 60mm. Anyone recomend what springs/shocks to go for that are a decent price. Can i lower it 60 with just springs or do i need shocks as well? thx

You can do it with just springs but witha drop like that you'll wreck the standard shockers in no time, your best bet is to get a full kit. I had avo on my car before and they were quite good, HARD but it handled well and they werent epensive:D

yeah, doing it on just springs is a bad idea. I had my sri lowered 60mm with the standard shocks in and it was bumpy as feck, bottoming out all the time. Then i stuck in some gas shocks - sorted :)

I've herd GMAX do a good -60 kit for around ?180, and thats a bargain if u ask me!
I have GMAX shocks, and i think there good, but aint got the correct springs to match yet!
