There must be tons of these jokes scattered about this beautiful isle, so Send them in please.
Here are the ones I know
She was only the mayors daughter, but she let the borough surveyor.
She was only the colonels daughter, but she knew what Regiment.
She was only the welders daughter, but she had acetylene knockers.
She was only the farmers daughter, but she put her back to the land.
She was only the fishmongers daughter, but she'd lay on the slab & say fillet.
