My servo assist has been failing for a while due to a vaccuum leak, earlier this week I bought a Servo, master cylinder + vaccuum line from a GSi with the intention of fitting them soon. Tonight because of the way it was playing up today I decided to change just the line, but in the process I broke the grommet that was in there, and can't get hold of one until tomorrow.
I know that I need to use a lot more pedal effort with no assist, but will I damage anything by just blocking off the vaccuum line for tonight so I can go see my gf?
