i have just droped a 1.6 in my car before it was a 1.4 i just like to say wake up because i am sick of hearing people saying how they can beat a gte/gsi in a race with there 1.3/1.4 sr's the gsi engine in mine would of killed my 1.4 in a race and that had got 32/34 4 branch full magnex and only done 52000 miles so get real

i can beat gtes mine a 1.4bottom end wiv all steel crank,forged pistons, blydenstienb+ head,pmc high lift cam,twin 40's, 4 branch zorst and i can keep up wiv my mate in his standard r5 gt and im not lying

i don't mean suped up sr's were i live in stoke they put a k&n on and a zorst and think it the fasted think ever i wanted twin 40's and cam and head but for the price of that i got a gsi lump

wayne, where u live? I also have a 1.6Sri, and go to fez park all the time, u ever tried to race a red 1.3 sr that seemed a bit quicker than u were expecting?

and maybe a 1.4SRi with 3 bar alloys on. My SRi will just keep GTE's/GSi's and i think dicko and a few other members on here can vouch for that.

My Allegro 1300 could beat all of you lot. It's got hydrogas suspension, and a special square steering wheel, for super dooper fast cornering ability. It's even got an "aluminiumised exhaust pipe" and the lines on the grill run from top to bottom, unlike the lesser 1100, where they run from side to side :D

Of course, my Citroen Dyane 4 is even better, though not as good as my Daf 33 :p
