my big ass amp blew up last night (i didnt even have it on that loud...:roll: )and i dont really wanna spend loads of money buying a new one as this one is rare, so i'm told. anyone know where i can get it re-furbed, preferably sumwhere round cheshire? cheers

It shouldn't have "blown up"
the fuse should have blown first

Have you checked the fuse??

checked fuses, replaced them, and when i rewired it lots of smoke came out, its a JBL GT/H400 6channel

no point repairing it as jbl amps tend to have to go back to jbl themselves and they cost a fortune.

if you want it repairing you will have to send it to them, thats all you can do really last we checked at work.

you can pick up some second hand ones similair for cheaper than the fee for jbl just looking at it!

From my experience with the JBL rep, the best thing is to try and get a replacement if its still under warrenty
