theres 2 numbers i believe on mine, on the body of the dizzy. part number ends in 6012...

As far as I'm aware, there are 2 types of distributor on these engines, red (clip on) cap & black (screw on) cap.
This is the clip on type for red dizzy cap. They both fit any cam carriers.

i think another difference with dizzy's is some have a 3 pin connector and some a 2 .. that gte one in pic above should be 3 pin .. iirc

thanks for getting back to me craig.
that must be the other one... although mine is a red dizzy cap and it does clip on. the wiring plug for the dizzy connects horizontally on mine not vertically like yours.
the part number on mine is: 0237506012
