...of standard (if not then close to standard is fine, but no chavved up sheds!) 4dr saloons please, showing as much of the side as possible - side on would be best, but at an angle would be ok. Preferably decent sized - featured section pics are too small for my liking! And before you say it, Google image search doesn't work at work!

Thank'ee

:D

LMFAO @ Rexy lol

Hmm... cba to get a 2dr saloon now as they're getting too popular so the prices are going up, plus they seem to be a lot harder to find than the 4drs. There's a couple fairly local to me at not a bad price (i.e. they're T&T-ed and I'd get rather a lot of change from ?400 lol).

The 4drs are mostly Mk2s as well which means injection engines in a load of them, so Alex can drive it for a while (til I get bored and put an XE in) as she doesn't do manual chokes lol

If 2dr comes up at the right price then I'd get one but at the moment I'm thinking thats highly unlikely so 4dr granny mobiles are the future. Oh, and with a 4dr your passengers can get out without having to climb over you lol

I can never understand why people smooth in bodykits.

They invariably crack or you hit a badger and need to hack off the bumper to replace it... etc...

Bottom of those doors look proper ****ed too.

lol

Come to think of it, there was a Nova in Taunton last night with the hatch version of that crappy bodykit, at the hollywood bowl car park. Not sure if they were staring at my car or at me openly pointing and laughing at the kit lol

Cant call it a coop' (deliberate sp) if you get a 4-dr.

Would like to see the rear door shuts done Integrale style on a 4-dr though.

do the 4 door... as like you said 2 doors are too common.

The amount of people doing saloons has put me right off now. lol

It was stupid for me not to buy this, but there was a '86 1.0 2dr, fairly mint on ebay the other day and it sold for ?140 iirc, and it was a 10 minute walk from my house in Reading :(

btw i saw that hatch with the delta bodykit in blowplex before i left, i took a photo coz it made me chuckle....lots

Quite like that, especially the rear bumper - is that an extension or a cav one chopped in half? Looks like the front bumper juts out a bit though :tard:

All these 2drs being posted is making me want to spend money...

now then i,m the same couldnt make
my mind up 2 door or 4 door so i
thought stuff it i,ll buy one of each
the 4 door is currently striped getting
a full respray, smoothed rear doors ,gsi kit, xe lump, leather buckets, coilovers and 17'' mo,s .
The 2 door is my winter runaround but i,ve
lowered it 60mm on 17,s sr front bumper
clear lights allround then getting the same
treatment as my 4 door,i,ll post some pics
when the 4 door comes back from the bodyshophttp://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r121/novafusion69/nova4doorsaloonpic4.jpghttp://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r121/novafusion69/nova4doorsaloon.jpghttp://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r121/novafusion69/nova2doorsaloonpic3.jpghttp://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r121/novafusion69/nova2doorsaloon.jpghttp://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r121/novafusion69/nova2doorsaloonpic2.jpg

What sport seats go in a 4-dr?

Matt2107
10-11-06, 10:23 AM
I was considering buying a 4 door saloon welding the rear doors up and fitting reclining front seats.

Also on the way back from KFC my gf came up with the idea of rear seats in the front.... dunno how that would work though.

Yep

Jack
10-11-06, 10:49 AM
Did briefly consider that myself - for about half a second then thought might as well get a 2dr, as everyone else will say too lol

Rear seats are different in a 4dr iirc, but the fronts are the same? Just don't tilt.
