i have a tatty front bumper that someone has tried to paint before and its started to peel, what should i do to prep the bumper properly ready for paint? :thumb:
I did that last weekend  It's not too hard actually. Try looking at Ades guide (http://www.novaload.net/forum/showthread.php?t=22846) for some tips.
Sand all the flakey bits down well as I found they show really badly once painted if you don't smooth and level the difference in height out. I sanded it down, primered the bits where I got back to plastic and just applied several layers of paint until it looked okay then lacquered.
Seemed to turn out okay :thumb:
