fit a corsa gsi 16v engine to a nova? obviously the wirin would need to be changed etc, but wats crack with the engine mounts, drive shafts etc etc???

any help would be appreciated

just found an astra 1.6 8v, same as the nova gsi engine, just need to know if i need to change the loom or not???? because arnt these engines a str8 swap mount wise to my 1.2???/

turns out the 8v aint wat i thought it was, so im back on the idea of the 16v, anyone know how hard a conversion it is?

i think its a straight swap, just make sure you have the transponder key and wiring

if you do a search using the novaload search function you shoul dbe able to find all the info you need without sat there talking to yourself on a thread;) :thumb:

Mounts/Shafts are a straight swap.

Only things you'll need to do is some wiring (how much depending which 16v engine it is)
And mod the downpipe/exhaust to fit a nova system.

The hardest thing will be making sure you get the right key chip and the pick-up module that mounts to the steering column if it has an immobiliser built-in to the ecu, other wise its pretty much a straight swap.
