ive got the first 1, all the plates are 2mm thick - havent fitted them yet but they look ok. i was also about thinking about going and geting some more made up from the local metal fabricators, maybe in a little bit thicker metal

Hi! I just recive first kit and it look's ok. If i have time i will weld it on to my car in 1month or so.

I think that there is not much difference in those kit's.

Mayby I'll take some pictures of the assembly

The first kit was a copy mine which he purchased early on this year, since then i have altered the shape of a few plates which didnt fit 100%

Your welcome to buy the cheaper kit but the feedback i get says it all.

Chris.

Northern ireland is only the same postage rates if you use the post office, plating kit is too heavy to send through post office when boxed up as the post office is only cheap below 2kg.

Postage to northern ireland is ?19.50 up to 15kg, see if anybody else you know wants one and split the costs maybe!

Hey, well iv started to fit the kit and all seems to me going good with only a few minor ajustments. the only problem is in trying to place 2 pices. the look like this
_____________
l . . . . . . . . . . \
l______________\

(dont worry about the dotted line)
the second piece is a mirror of it. i can see with the drawing where its roughly ment to go but i just cant get it. is it ment to go onto a part of the suspension?

cheers lee

has it got a kinda triangle piece aswell, on the sides ?? also its not an exact rectangle - its fatter at 1 end than the other ?? if so it goes on the chassis legs at the rear

If you look under the floor pan, there is an outrigger which when it emerges in the engine bay is where the fr TCA (bottom arms) are mounted. (its also a typical jacking point). The plates you have shown are to be welded in underneath. You didnt mention if there are threaded bosses welded to the plates. My HH kit had these bosses on which are for the rear sump guard mountings if you are that way inclined.

Hope that makes sense. Could get pics if still unclear.

cheers, theres no threaded bosses on the pices. will have to look again round that area to try and place it. i have the bits at the rear that you were talkin about draper - midlands.

if you had a pic of it placed it would be well appreciated cheers

If its one of mine the numbers are printed on the plates!
