hi all!! what im wanting to no is how much punishment can standard conrods with arp bolts take, are they any good for track days/santa pod or should i get steel rods

if we're talking on an XE here, no more than 7750 RPM, if your not running uber lairy cams where you'll need the extra rev's, then just the ARP bolts will be fine.

yes sorry im on about an 2l xe, so if i go for a cam that goes to say 7500, and set my limiter to 7500 with standard rod an arp bolts that will be fine to abuse round a track.

probably around the same i imagine. XEV's and XE's are pretty similar block wise.
