Right, i've finally got the Monza, but do i buy one of these as well???
Being able to finance the daily running costs etc isn't an issue, i just can't make my mind up!!!
Obviously it's not this exact one, but it's a 1973 Opel Commodore, 2 door coupe with vinyl roof, 2.8 straight six engine.

Well we'd all be able to buy one if we didnt pay for insurance and tax.

Both my cars are sorned off road, so no point taxing and insuring them for them to sit in a garage is there??? not that it has anything to do with you! :thumb:

Would they qualify as tax exempt, are they old enough?

Insurance would be pennies I should think, classic policies with limited mileage are el mucho cheapo

The Monza is only 22 year old, however the Commodore is 33!!! which would qualify as exempt from road tax, the Monza has 3 years to go, and my Nova 7 years before they qualify!

The Monza will only be driven every so often as i don't want to put too much milage on her (although it's about 30 miles away from my house)
The Commodore, if i buy it, would be the same, but i'm unsure of her milage :thumb:

I've asked about the Commodores on TWOMAS (a Monza site) as one of the guys on there is restoring one, so wait and see what his advice is then it'll be decision time for me lol
