1.2 spi Nova Vs lot of nitrous (videos)

Right then the results are in for little 1.2 nova. Here is the car we used, a k reg 1.2spi.

Took about 30mins to fit the nitrous kit as soon below.

We started out with 50bhp jets straight into the top of the airbox. Went quite well really, fastest 1.2 ive ever been in lol. Here is a video of us ragging it up an down with 50bhp jets in. Half way through you can hear the engine going but not really the car, thats because we killed ht clutch.

Oh yeah sorry about the fct that they on an angle, didnt realise until i had uploaded them.

So after kill the clutch we decided to stop messing around and went for about 200bhp direct, well what can be said really, i think the video says it all really.

Engine parts were scattered over about a 20ft radius, the blast was so big it sent bits of air box almost through the bonnet lol

Yeah i know was fairly big, was fcuking loud as well none of use could hear right for a few mins. The more worrying thing was that when we but another airbox on it still ran fine so we had to put some bolts and stones in the intake / rocker cover to finsh it off lol

I tried to kill my old polo yesterday, got it running at about 3000rpm and poured a can full of water down the inlet. It cut out but didn't die, after a few turns it fired back up and ran sweet :mad:

Well 50bhp worked fine on it, we were using it for about a few mins fully on while revving the hell out of it and while reversing lol. It did how ever sound a bit rattly bottom end after the first round of abuse. If use properly i reckon a 50bhp shot would be ok.
